Car Air Conditioning FAQS
Eveready Mechanical and Auto Electrical are well placed to take care all of your Car Air Conditioner Re-gas, Repair, Service and Inspection needs
Car air conditioner systems use refrigerant to extract heat from the air within the inside of the car out of the vehicle, leaving only cooled or 'conditioned' air behind to be recirculated. It is important to evaluate the condition of the rubber seals regularly for any signs of leaks or wearing which could indicate a continuing loss of refrigerant.
To compensate for this problem the refrigerant in your Vehicle Air Conditioner should ideally be recharged completely within four years of the manufacture date and every two to three years after that.
Your car should be inspected by a reputable workshop such as Eveready Mechanical and Auto Electrical (AU19529) regularly to make sure the air conditioning system continues performing in optimum conditon as well as having the mechanics inspect the condition of the entire car.
Repco Authorised Service mechanics perform a 65 point Vehicle Inspection with every service and are able to alert you to any items that may need replacement in the near future or those that are already worn beyond repair.
